REGULATIONS
1. DRAWING
There are only 2 persons allowed per team for the drawing. The drawing will be done via electronic system at random. The schedules will be printed out and handed over to all the teams. If the electronic systems should fail we switch over to balloting.
2. WEIGHING, REGISTRATION and FEE
2.1 The Participants have to wear a black Silat suite at the weighing.
2.2 If the weight is not correct from the participant he /she gets one hour to get to correct weight. When the weight is not correct after this hour, he/ she can change the weight-class, only they must pay double the admission fee.
2.3 15 minutes before every competition there can be a re-weighing, if the weight is not correct, he/she will be disqualified.
2.4 the participants for the Seni, have to register, and the weapons will be checked by Technical Official. The weapons who are allowed are: Tongkat, Pisau, Golok/Parang, Cabang/Tekpi, Celurit/Arit, Kerambit, and Keris.
2.5 Fees are

3. OBJECTION
3.1 Only the team manager is allowed to make any objections. All objections should be in a written form and €125,- will be charged.
3.2 All objections should be submitted to the head of competition within 10 minutes after results have been announced.
3.3 If the objection is rejected by the committee of opposition, the € 125, - charge will not be returned.
3.4 All decisions made by the committee are final.
4. ADJOURNMENT
4.1 The date, venue and duration of the competition have been set by and under jurisdiction of the organizers, as mentioned in the invitation letter.
4.2 The organizing committee has all the rights to adjourn or change the competition by notifying the team managers prior to the competition.
5. ENTRIES SUBMITTED
5.1 All entries must be submitted latest by 25th June 2016
5.2 All forms must be filled in and mailed to: secretarygeneral@npsf.nl
6. RULES OF COMPETITION
This competition is done following the rules of PERSILAT (Persatuan Silat Antarabangsa), NPSF (Dutch Pencak Silat Federation & PSMN (Persekutuan Silat Melayu in the Nederlands) and rules set by the organizers.
7. CONTESTANT’S REGISTRATION
7.1 This competition is open for all pesilats, local and international
7.2 Registration form, Self-Guarantee form and Medical check-up form must be submitted to the championship committee before the competition begins.
8. PENCAK SILAT COMPETITION
8.1 TANDING EVENT
Covers both Putra (male) and Putri (female) categories.
8.1.2 All rules are referring to PERSILAT and NPSF /PSMN rules.

8.2.1 During registration, weigh-in session will be arranged for each contestant to confirm their category. Each contestant is obligated to go through a weigh-in session 15 minutes before each round. If their weight is more than the category taken during repeated weigh-in, the contestant will be disqualified from the competition.
8.2.2 Duration for each round is two minutes and three rounds are provided for each match. However, subject is to change during the match.
8.2.3 The participant has to wear a black Silat uniform, body protectors and groin protection.
8.2.4 Joint protection is allowed, only one layer and it must be allowed by the
Technical Official.
8.2.5 Every participant has to be present 15 minutes before his/her competition. The organization will call the name of the participant(s) 3 times, if he/she is not present, the participant will be disqualified.
8.2.6 Depending on the numbers of competitors, the organization can put different weight classes together with approval of the team manager.
8.3 SILAT SENI EVENT
8.3.1 The competition will be based on rules set by Persekutuan Pencak Silat Antarabangsa (PERSILAT), Nederlandse Pencak Silat Federatie (NPSF) and Persekutuan Silat Melayu the Netherlands (PSMN) including all amendments made.
8.3.1 Events competed:

8.3.2 The duration of the performance is exact 3 minutes after striking the gong.
8.3.3 The participant is required to wear a silat uniform, color is free. Accessories like ikat kepala / setanjak, (head gear) Bengkung (belt), Sarong/Kain are allowed.
8.3.4 Music is allowed, live gendang or recording music.
8.3.5 There are 2 categories; required style like Jurus Wajib & Free style forms.
8.3.6 Weapons in the Ganda & Free style form are allowed from the Nusantara Archipelago like:

8.3.7 Weapons for the required styles like Jurus Tunggal Baku are: Toya & Golok. The Weapons will be checked by a Technical Official.
8.4 GENDANG SILAT EVENT
3.3.1 The competition will be based on the rules of NPSF & PSMN
3.3.2 Each Gendang-group has a minimum of 2 players and a maximum 4 players.

8.4.1 Each Gendang group brings their own instruments and are responsible for their own instruments during the event.
8.4.2 The Gendang silat groups get 10 minutes to show the jury their skills, after that, all Gendang teams plays at random during the whole competition.
8.5 TEAM EVENT MIX
8.5.1 Every Demo Team has 5 pesilat, (mix male or female is allowed)
8.5.2 Every Demo Team gets 5 minutes for their performance
8.5.3 Music is allowed, recording or live Gendang
8.5.4 The performance of the team can be empty handed or weaponry
8.5.5 The team will be judged by their skills and their choreography
9. MEDICAL SERVICES
4.1 There will be a Medical Team on duty throughout the event
4.2 If participants need a further treatment in a hospital due to injury suffered during the
competition, the organizer will not bear the cost.
4.3 Participants who need the medical service must be produce their ID card to the
medical officials.
10. PROTOCOL ETIQUETTE & DISCIPLINE FOR THE DUTCH OPEN 2016
5.1 For the opening and closing ceremony all participants wear their official tracksuits or Standard Pencak Silat Attire
5.2 For the price presentation all participants wear their official tracksuits or Standard Pencak Silat Attire.
5.3 For the tanding competition all participants wear standard Pencak Silat Attire
5.4 For the artistic competition all participants wear the attire according Rules & Regulations PERSILAT.
5.5 The discipline of ceremonies & competition are as follows:
5.5.1 Participants must come to every ceremony & event on time according to the
Schedule set by the organizer.
5.5.2 Participants must perform good personal appearance with good attitude and spirit
Of sportsmanship.
5.5.3 Participants should follow any ceremony orderly during it is taking place, should not utter any noise which might disturb the solemnity of the ceremony.
5.5.4 Disciplinary action will be taken towards athletes with bad attitude and problems.
5.5.5 No abusive and vulgarities language at all times
5.5.6 No indecent hand gestures and signs at all times
11. GENERAL MATTERS
6.1 All participants for the Dutch Open 2016 get an ID Card
6.2 The ID Card must be worn during the whole event
6.3 All countries are required to bring along their National Flag.
12. NARCOTICS & DOPING
7.1 It’s strictly prohibited to bring, consume or to distribute all kind of drugs
during the Dutch Open.
7.2 It’s strictly prohibited to use doping during the Dutch Open.
13. SELF INSURANCE
Tanding competition is a semi-contact sport and injuries are possible during this competition. The organizer can not be held responsible for any injury or even death due to the competition. The team manager is accountable for any financial consequences that the hospital can charge.
